To know ourselves we must know God. The tragedy today is many people know who Jesus is and what he came to do but they don’t apply it to themselves. Why is this? The main reason is we have too high of a view of ourselves and a low view of God.
Recently Justin West wrote an article about Reformed Theology and posted it to our website, here. The first part of the article deals with the depravity of man. This is an essential classical Christian doctrine. We must get back to having a correct view of God and man, your salvation depends on it!
Paul applied this verse to the Jews but does it apply to the church today? Romans 10:3 ESV For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
I don’t believe there will be a quiz when we enter heaven because God will already know our heart. What will be in your heart?
